27 Weeks and counting....

Today was our 27 weeks checkup and glucose test (I also got a flu shot).  Baby girl's heartbeat is a strong 150 bpm! Dr. Moore said he loves nothing more than a BORING pregnancy! I thought... hmmm, boring for who? But I know that he meant that everything was normal!  From here on out I will be seeing the Dr. every two weeks.  Here's an update on her progress: Your baby is getting more active and attentive Week 27: Your baby begins to recognize the sound of your voice Your baby gets very active at 27 weeks, and you’ll likely feel it very soon. Here are some other changes she's going through: At Week 27, your baby probably weighs almost 2 pounds, and is about the length of a head of broccoli. Her lungs, liver, and immune system keep maturing. She might know your voice and your partner's voice. During Week 27, your baby is as much as four times longer than she was during the 12th week of pregnancy.

Nursery Project!

Nursery Project #1: I fell in love with this idea of using the Ikea Ung Drill Frame and Custom Fabric Applique Hoops from this etsy seller,  gigglesandtoots  to create a whimsical art display over the crib.  No... we dont have a name YET!!! But as soon as we commit to a name I will add her initial with buttons in the center of the frame.  Can't wait to show off the finished product!. Here's what my custom hoops look like (too cute):
